I’m currently a Master of Information student in User Experience Design at the University of Toronto. My passion for design stemmed from my undergraduate degree in finance and business technology management from the University of British Columbia. As I learned about information systems in my undergraduate degree, this helped me build a foundation to understand how I can use technology as a means to improve user experiences. My finance background also helped me become adept with quantitative analysis, allowing me to be proficient in analyzing data from user research.

A common saying in finance is synergy, which is the concept that the value of two companies will be greater than the sum of the individual parts. In other words, this means that 1 + 1 = 3. I believe this also holds true in the heart of design, and I look forward to diving into technology and human experience to establish synergies that bring immense value to design.
